Many manufacturers stock large amounts of pre-printed boxs that are marked with variable information, such as product content and date codes. In many cases this is done with a low-resolution coder. The solution for these manufacturers is generic cases paired with an ultra-high resolution ProSeries Ink Jet printhead able to code logos, product identification, and variable lot/date information. This solution allows the manufacturer to carry a manageable box inventory, lower labor costs, and achieve the high-quality reproductions of the pre-printed box format
