Pharmaceutical

Pharmaceutical tanks used during batch production of liquid chemicals need absolute drying to eliminate the crosscontamination of rinse water with the subsequent product batch. Absolute drying is also required to prevent the growth of bacteria in the storage of empty tanks and totes. In addition, pharmaceutical companies must use efficient air drying methods to dry process tanks, blenders, mixers and tube conveyors before subsequent batch production can resume. Unfortunately, the process of natural air drying is time intensive and can significantly delay production. And while compressed air drying is an option, it has become cost prohibitive due to high energy costs.

As a result, pharmaceutical companies increasingly rely on high-efficiency, lowcost centrifugal blowers for various drying applications. Paxton PureAir guarantees a reduction in drying time by an average of 50% compared to time-intensive natural air drying. The PureAir is designed to produce ultra-clean, dry air to preserve the quality of chemicals in future batches, and its small, compact design makes it portable to the point of use. The Paxton PureAir centrifugal blower can be tailored to fit the custom needs of every pharmaceutical manufacturing application to ensure maximum reliability while enhancing productivity.

Solar

Solar panels typically consist of multiple solar cells attached together to produce power for residential and commercial use. Oftentimes, sun drying or other conventional methods of drying are used during the panel manufacturing process. These methods often allow dust or other contaminants to enter the drying environment, contributing to product quality degradation and contamination that often results in costly product loss. The Paxton PureAir delivers the highest quality air, ensuring that the systems or equipment used in solar panel manufacturing are maintained free of external contaminants.

Medical

Maintaining clean and dry manufacturing equipment is of the highest importance in the medical device industry. Keeping production molds contaminant free (as well as cleaning the small, deep, complex geometry of micro tools) is a critical concern when manufacturing very high tolerance medical devices. Effective cleaning of clamping devices and removal of parting line flash or material burrs from the finished product are essential steps in the medical manufacturing process. Paxton understands these application issues and will work with medical device manufacturers to engineer the perfect solution.

Electronics

A completed assembly of electronic devices needs to be thoroughly cleaned and dried before power can be applied and testing can begin. Only the cleanest, driest air can be used for the cleaning and drying of electronic equipment. Paxton PureAir provides electronic device manufacturers with a drying system that is custom-built to serve their specific needs while drastically reducing energy consumption and operating costs.

Food (Pre-Packaged)

The Paxton line of blowers is engineered to increase the speed of conveyor lines by up to 50%, while lowering operating costs by eliminating expensive compressed air. Paxton’s PureAir is the perfect solution to dry and clean fruits and vegetables before transportation to freezers for storage or for packaging prior to shipping. PureAir is also used to blow off and dry fresh meats and poultry prior to packaging. Cheese that is recovered from a brine solution needs to be dried and cleaned before it is moved to packaging. Paxton has worked with multiple cheese manufacturers to replace expensive compressed air systems with high-efficiency, low-cost blowers to deliver clean, dry air. Paxton has more than 50 years of engineering expertise, providing solutions that are focused on helping achieve the “freshness” and “quality” that the industry demands.
