Marion Manufacturer's New Logo is Just the Beginning!
In 1893, A.J. Bradley founded Diagraph with a vision to become a world leader in the production and distribution of quality marking and stenciling products. Over 100 years later Diagraph Marking and Stenciling Products has put a new face on that vision with the unveiling of a new company logo. At a ceremony to unveil the new logo to Diagraph employees, Robert "Butch" Quarles, general manager of the Marion, IL based company said, "For Diagraph MSP, 2009 will mark a new approach to how we market our products and company. We felt that a new logo was a logical place to start."
Quarles continued, "We wanted a logo that could better represent not only the diversity of our product line, but reflect our new emphasis on growth and expansion. At Diagraph MSP, we manufacture and distribute a wide range of products that help businesses worldwide mark and ship. From our facility in Marion, we produce everything from valve action paint markers to electronic stencil machines. Our employees also create specialized inks and everything a business would need to apply those inks, and that's just the beginning. Our new logo and color scheme embraces that diversity."
For their marketing partner, Diagraph turned to Carbondale-based 1187 Creative, and creative director Zak Ouart. According to Ouart "We felt that the old Diagraph logo was visually out-of-date. And, after meeting with the Diagraph staff, it's obvious that the old logo didn't accurately get across what a progressive and forward-looking company they are. We hope the new logo does just that."
But the changes at the Marion manufacturer don't stop with the logo. According to Quarles, "We're repackaging our top products and expanding key product lines to better serve our customers, distributors and the environment." For an example of Diagraph's new product look, one needs to look no further than Diagraph's top selling product, the GP-X Marker.

Quarles explained, "Every week we send our GP-X product to clients throughout North America and the world. So it made sense to give our anchor product a face lift. Plus our clients have expanding needs as well as ecological concerns. To better meet those needs, and answer those green concerns, we will be expanding the GP-X family of markers as well as well as other product lines. So stay tuned in 2009!"
